We have been building our garage and my studio for almost three years. These photos show bits of the process, it's ups and downs, and how it has ultimately been a labor of love, necessity and persistance for us.
We feel blessed to be able to build it ourselves. We have used reclaimed lumber for the interior for the flooring. On the exterior we have used metal for the upper siding. The wood on the exterior we have locally harvested and milled. We have used yellow pine for the siding, cedar for the stairs, locust on the stair treads, and walnut for the hand railing.
The completion is nearing!
