Good morning!

I would like to say thank you to Alicia for your sweet post yesterday! And thank you Marichelle for your lovely post yesterday on Heart Handmade!

Last night I sat down and started drawing something that's been in my mind for over a month now. Foxes.

A month or so ago while walking to work a fox ran across my path as I passed by the courthouse. My jaw dropped. I don't think I'd really seen a fox that close before and certainly not in town. I learned there's a family living in a garage nearby and last night I found out this mother fox and her pups are living only six blocks down from us on our street! I would like to see them again.

When I saw that fox I felt lonely for it. Like it was looking for something. Then I read foxes do well in urban environments. That put me at ease.

I'm noticing that this summer studio time gives me alot. of. time. to. think. what a feeling.

anything on your mind today?
H

ps. If anyone is interested in one of the small fox drawings let me know, I'll put it in the shop for you.
