A little more from the weekend.
I made a peach pie yesterday and was quite happy with how it turned out. The sweet/tart harmony tastes just right to me as I prefer things on the tart side with just an air of sweetness. The recipe? Cut up fresh peaches, squeeze some lemon juice and a few dashes of sugar, cinnamon & cornstarch and pour over Mom's pie crust recipe. Dollop with butter and bake till golden. It will make your taste buds happy and the aroma, the aroma will take you back.
