Simply sharing some film shots today of an impromptu visit to watch the sunset at the wetlands after our anniversary dinner last month. Before I took these I was a feeling a little bored by my surroundings. But let me tell you, when we came upon the lily pad pond my mouth gaped and I stood, overwhelmed, amazed. Where did this otherworldly place come from? We had never seen this in the wetlands before. It truly was a wonder. So much so, that when I turned to leave, my footing slipped from the bank (improper footwear), I flapped my arms like a strange bird and nearly fell in. (Luckily M. grabbed me.)
