pinholes on paper

The pinhole method is something I have been doing for nearly ten years and is a primary medium of mine. It is labor intensive, as it is poking one hole at a time through paper with a needle to create a pattern, image, or text.

All materials used in the creation and framing of this piece are acid-free and archival. The paper is 100 percent cotton and neutral pH. It is professionally matted using only archival rag mats. The glass is tru-vue conservation glass, and has a coating to protect the art from UV light. The frame is handmade by myself and my husband from reclaimed fir flooring. It is wired on the back and has a dust cover. It is ready to hang.
