This piece features handmade watercolor a method in which I mix dry pigments and grind them by hand to make each color. For any given painting when I make my paints by hand, I will make upwards of 40 colors on the working palette.

All materials used in the creation and framing of this piece are acid-free and archival. The paper is 100 percent cotton and neutral pH. It is professionally matted using only archival rag mats. The glass is tru-vue conservation glass, and has a coating to protect the art from UV light. The frame is handmade by myself and my husband from local maple. It is wired on the back and has a dust cover. It is ready to hang.
