Life is full

Life is full. While it's been quiet here, I have written here a little, and here, and a little here too. I have been taking pictures, printing, teaching, going to the art museum, visiting with friends, discussing new ideas, working on new projects, walking, going to the lake, baking cookies, enjoying garden salads, riding bikes, noticing the autumn leaves are changing quickly and... how about you?

time flies... garden here is waning, pulled the carrots, second crop of mustard spinach to cut this weekend. leaves are not turning, too much wind, rain and yet there is a little time to think about swinging in the hammock with a blanket this weekend. indoor work will have to wait.

Loving seeing your old photo's reviewed.

Currently, I'm trapped under a blue tarpualin!
had the front doors and walls removed, even more dodgily made than suspected and no insulation at all. Thicker walls going in, sheep's wool insulation batts... this will be the winter of comaparative warm, less condensation and no more smells of the rotting posts that meant the porch was about to collapse! I long to get out and have a life but now at least I can have some people to visit without endangering their lives or their nasal passages. Halloween here we come!
