New wood block cards

Hi to you out there,
I hope you're well today. It's rather warm here, over 90 degrees! We enjoyed working out in the garden this weekend and I'm happy to report it is really shaping up. I can't even tell you how much spinach we are harvesting. In a bit, I think I'll go work on a recipe that perhaps I'll share at tend on Thursday.

But first, I want to let you know that I have just listed new wood block cards in my Etsy shop. The first batch I made were in bright colors (thank you, they are sold out!) and I enjoyed making them so much that I wanted to do more. Yet I wanted to try a different color palette, so the new ones are in muted tones. Only a limited twenty sets are available. I'm working on other letterpress ideas that I hope to share soon.

Have a good night!

Announcements

Hello and good Monday evening to you,
I have a few announcements to share with you today. I just listed some of my brand new letterpress cards in my Etsy shop. These letterpress cards sets come in three different designs and were so fun to make. I'm really enjoying designing cards and prints using our antique types and ornaments. I wish I could print as quickly as I get ideas!

I'm happy to be part of the new Paper Pops market which opened today at Poppytalk Handmade. There are so many great artists involved. I always respect and appreciate the integrity of the markets that Jan curates. You can view my table here

And remember the fun little announcement I mentioned last week? Well, I'll be contributing to tend, a new online gardening collective. The project is conceived by Amy Johnson, who has quite a bit of agriculture experience and quite a beautiful garden. There will be something new each day of the week from Shari, Natalie, Julia, Amy, and myself. I'm looking forward to what these fine ladies will be sharing and showing us in their gardens. In my first post I talk about my favorite way to prepare collards. We hope you'll visit us.

In the studio

I'm excited to report I have finished the cars letterpress print. Now I'm working on printing some wood block cards in different colors. Today I printed the blues. This week I hope to list the limited edition letterpress cars print and wood block card sets in my Etsy shop.

Three things

A collection of three things about this morning:

* My new favorite tea is Awake by Tazo.
* Yesterday snowflakes rested on our fully blooming daffodils. Today our plum tree on the north of my studio has puffy white buds in its branches. I keep turning my head to look at them, they're a cheery sight on this (yet again) grey day.
* I am currently working on a three color print using some of the letterpress ornaments above. Cars & trucks! Today I will use yellow.

Hope you have a good day!
